Is This The Ranting Of A Sane World Leader?

I'm not sure which I find the most disturbing.

1) That Trump actually said (or at least texted) this, or
2) That even "I" didn't really believe he would say (or post) it.

It's easy to fake a screenshot of an X post, a Facebook post or any other post from any social media so I decided to vet it as best I could.

I searched MSN, CNN, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, FOX, AP and other sources... even Al Jazeera and they are all reporting the same story. (Some of the really far right sites didn't cover it but neither did they deny it or suggest it was fake.)

Still not content to believe it was real, I decided to get it from the horses mouth. But since Trump isn't taking any of my calls these days, I logged on to "Truth Social" where the post originated.

And there it was. Large as life. This is the Truth Social Screenshot I took tonight. It is dated 12 hours ago which would time-stamp it at approximately sometime earlier this morning (Sun-Apr-05-26) which is when most reports claim when Trump first posted it.

I don't know what to say about it. WOW! Just Wow!

THIS is a ranting of a sane world leader that has the codes to call for a nuclear strike?

That it hardly becomes any of us, To speak evil of the rest of us.” Feast and your halls are crowded. Fast and the world goes by. Succeed and give will help you live, But no one can help you die. I found this poem in a photo album/scrap book that my paternal grandfather received from Santa in 1905 when he was 7 years old. Judging from some other writings in this book, it appears it was written by his mother. However I do not know if she created it or borrowed it from another source. Although it was undated, it had to have been written between December 1905 and December of 1907 when my grandfather’s mother died. It starts out with a humbling message and ends on kind of a morbid note. Has anyone ever seen this poem before or know anything about its origin?
