Eugen Hansen Is anyone else getting tired of Trump’s constant whining about how no one will help the U.S. in their war with Iran?  This isn’t the first time Trump has threatened to leave NATO, complaining that no other countries would come to the aid of the U.S. if they ever needed it.  Trump seems to forget how often the whole world has been there for the U.S. in their hour of need. Trump feels that NATO countries' support in his war with Iran should have been automatic.  But Trump isn’t very well informed. And neither are his MAGA supporters who believe everything Trump tells them. What Trump doesn’t seem to understand is, the mandate of NATO is to come to the aid of any NATO country that is under attack, not to support them in wars that they start. Is This The Ranting Of A Sane World Leader? - jim Young  I'm not sure which I find the most disturbing. 1) That Trump actually said (or at least texted) this, or 2) That even "I" didn't really believe he would say (or post) it. It's easy to fake a screenshot of an X post, a Facebook post or any other post from any social media so I decided to vet it as best I could. I searched MSN, CNN, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, FOX, AP and other sources... even Al Jazeera and they are all reporting the same story. (Some of the really far right sites didn't cover it but neither did they deny it or suggest it was fake.) Still not content to believe it was real, I decided to get it from the horses mouth. And at the risk of  alienating myself from my fellow peers (pun intended) I will say this only once, "Come on guys - if it's that important to the ladies - PUT THE SEAT DOWN!" It's not that big of a deal for the guys to put the toilet seat back down after, but then in all fairness, why is it such a big deal for the ladies to put it down before? “Have you ever sat down on the toilet and fallen through because the seat wasn't down?" I have been asked, and I have to admit I have not. And this is a key point. Guys sometimes have to sit down too and there must be times when either he or someone else has left the seat up.
